Join us for a relaxed afternoon tasting with Karen and Anna, founders of Stork Wines, an independent Armenian winery rooted in sustainable, small-scale viticulture.
After years working internationally, the British-Armenian family returned to Armenia to invest in the country’s ancient winemaking heritage. With over 6,000 years of history - and the world’s oldest known winery discovered in the Areni cave! - Armenia is fast re-emerging as one of the most exciting regions for thoughtful, terroir-driven wines.
Named after the storks that nest among their vineyards, Stork produces expressive, high-altitude wines (grown over 1,000m above sea level), blending local character with international varietals. Their bottles have quietly gained recognition at international competitions, and for good reason!
During this informal, guided session, you’ll taste three wines - including their 2020 white, 2023 white and 2023 red - while hearing directly from the founders about their process, landscape and approach.
Expect thoughtful wine, interesting conversation and a chance to discover something a little off the beaten path.
