An exclusive evening with winemaker and entrepreneur Mags Janjo!
In 2022, together with old friend Mantler, Mags launched his very own wine, MAMA. Deriving its name from an amalgamation of 'Mags' and 'Mantler', this virtual winery specialises in small-batch, unique, and quirky wines.
At this workshop, you'll be tasting MAMA's latest harvest of white, rosé, red and pet nat wines, currently in the process of being bottled - an incredibly rare opportunity in the world of winemaking!
These new wines are so much more than trampled grapes in someone's backyard on a whim; they're the culmination of over a decade of wine research, knowledge and experience.
Mags is a keen scholar, currently heading towards Master of Wine, with a ton of experience in wine retail and brand creation. He's also founder of MJ Wine Cellars (one of our highly revered suppliers) and, frankly, we were blown away when we tasted this first batch of MAMA wine.
During the workshop - Mags’ 3rd at arêvery - you’ll be hearing from Mags about his experience making wine; the highs, the lows, and the WTFs!! It promises to be a fascinating insight for anyone interested in the behind-the-scenes of winemaking.
You'll leave this workshop after enjoying a few glasses of spectacular Austrian wine, with interesting stories to tell and a deepened appreciation for what really goes into making a single bottle of wine.
